I had a pretty solid stay at The Hostel, mainly for its unbeatable location close to Teton Village and the national park. The room was a bit spartan, but it had everything I needed, including a private bathroom, which was a plus. While I loved the friendly staff and free coffee, I did encounter a few minor issues with the room’s size and some amenities. Overall, it’s a great budget option if you're planning to spend most of your time outdoors.

Rooms

The room was small but exceeded my expectations with a private bathroom and bedside tables, which other hotels lack. The design was efficient but felt a bit dark, and there was no air conditioning. Still, it was clean and served my needs well.
Service

The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful throughout my stay, making me feel welcome. However, I did have a slight hiccup when I didn't receive clean towels after putting out my dirty ones.

You can't beat this location! It's within walking distance of everything in Teton Village and super close to Grand Teton National Park. Just be cautious of which route you take on the way back, as going through Jackson can add a lot of time.
Dining

The hostel offered complimentary coffee, which I appreciated, but I would've loved some breakfast options like bagels or donuts. Sadly, there was no dining on-site besides that.
Facilities

There were decent shared facilities in the basement, including a recreation area and cooking amenities, but I noticed some cleanliness issues in this area which could use improvement. Free parking was a bonus, though finding a spot can be tricky during peak times.

I had a great stay at The Hostel in Teton Village. The room was clean and comfortable, with a private bathroom, which is a big plus for a hostel. I appreciated the pet-friendly policy, even though the resident cat, Lionel Richie, was a bit territorial. While I enjoyed my time there, the lack of air conditioning made it a bit stuffy at times, and the parking situation was tight.

The common areas had a nice vibe, but the cleanliness could use some improvement. The facilities included a good area for winding down after a long day.

I had a decent stay at The Hostel in Teton Village. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the lifts, making it ideal for skiing. However, I found the noise level to be a bit disruptive at times, and the cooking facilities felt limited. Overall, it balances comfort and affordability well, especially for ski enthusiasts.⛷️

My stay was enjoyable overall. The location was excellent, very close to the Teton entrance, and I found the atmosphere welcoming, especially around the common areas. However, the room was quite basic, lacking most amenities like a fridge or air conditioning, which made my final night a bit uncomfortable. I didn't mind too much since the price was reasonable for the area! 😊

Rooms

The room was clean but very bare bones, which may not be suitable for families needing more space or comfort. I was on the 4th floor, and while I didn't have luggage issues, the room size would be tight for four people. I also missed having coffee facilities in the room.
Service

The staff was friendly and helpful, and I appreciated the free coffee and amenities in the lobby. It really made a difference, especially when I wanted to grab something in the morning before heading out.

While there's not a lot open early, the communal kitchen was a nice touch if you want to whip up something yourself. I loved the affordable ramen and the delicious waffles served in the morning!

The common rooms were fantastic for relaxing and spending time with family. I also discovered a new laundry room with a deep wash basin, making refilling water jugs a breeze!

Staying at The Hostel in Teton Village was a fantastic experience overall. Its location right at the base of the lifts made skiing super convenient, though the shared kitchen could have been better stocked. The friendly staff and clean accommodations really enhanced my stay.

Rooms

I stayed in a king room which was surprisingly spacious and clean. It had a huge bed and enough room for all my ski gear, though the bathroom was a bit small.
Service

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. Free coffee in the lobby was a nice touch too!

The Hostel is in a prime location, just a five-minute walk to the lifts. I loved the convenience of being able to ski right to the door at the end of the day.
Dining

The free coffee was good, but the kitchen could use more utensils and plates to be really functional for cooking.

The common area was nice with games like pool and shuffleboard available, but cleanliness could be improved a bit in the basement.
